We rethink your kitchen completely: opening a wall for an open plan, a large quartz island, custom cabinets to the ceiling, integrated lighting and storage planned around the way you cook. Because we are both general contractor and cabinetmaker, the 3D plan you approve is exactly what gets built and installed.

In Montreal's plexes and century homes, a kitchen is often the moment to level a floor, replace cast-iron plumbing or bring the electrical up to code. We include it in the quote from the start, with no surprise extras.

What a turnkey kitchen renovation includes

  • Photorealistic 3D plans and material selection with our designer
  • Demolition, opening or removal of walls (with engineer's plans where required)
  • Plumbing, electrical, ventilation and lighting to code
  • Custom cabinets built in Dorval: solid wood, veneer or thermofoil
  • Quartz, granite or wood counters, backsplash, quality hardware
  • Flooring, paint, installation, cleanup and final inspection

Frequently asked questions about kitchen renovation

How much does a kitchen renovation cost in Montreal?

A turnkey kitchen generally falls between $35,000 and $90,000 depending on size, structural work and materials. Refacing existing cabinets costs about a third of that. See our cost guide for details.

How long does a kitchen renovation take?

Cabinets are built in the workshop while the site is prepared; the kitchen is delivered 2 to 8 weeks after plan approval, depending on structural and plumbing work.

Can you remove a load-bearing wall for an open-plan kitchen?

Yes. We have the plans prepared by an engineer where required, obtain the borough permit and install the beam and supports before the wall comes down.

Do you really build the cabinets yourselves?

Yes, every cabinet is designed, machined and finished in our Dorval workshop. That is what allows a perfect fit to the out-of-square walls of plexes and shorter lead times than cabinets ordered elsewhere.

Can I keep my counter or appliances?

Often, yes. During the visit we assess what can be kept (counter, recent appliances, flooring) to focus the budget where it matters.
