Refacing suits kitchens whose boxes are solid but whose style has aged. We measure every opening, build custom doors and fronts (shaker, raised panel, flat, solid wood or lacquered), apply new finish panels on visible sides and replace hinges, slides and handles.

The project pictured above is an example: same boxes, new raised-panel doors, beadboard island and black hardware. The existing counter was kept.

What cabinet refacing includes

  • Custom doors and drawer fronts built in the workshop
  • Finish panels on visible sides and mouldings

Frequently asked questions about cabinet refacing

How much does refacing a kitchen cost?

Between $8,000 and $20,000 for an average kitchen, about a third of a new kitchen with demolition. The price mostly depends on the number of doors and the species or finish chosen.

How long does installation take?

2 to 4 days in your home, after 2 to 4 weeks of door fabrication in the workshop. Your kitchen stays usable during the work.

Can I change the colour and style?

Yes, completely: white-oak shaker door, lacquered flat door, glass panels, new mouldings. We bring samples to the visit.

Can you add cabinets or an island?

Yes. Because we build the doors, we can add a pantry, a cabinet or an island matched to the refacing.
