Custom furniture is designed for your room: it uses the ceiling height, wraps around an alcove, hides a duct and lines up with original mouldings. In our workshop we work solid wood (white oak, walnut, maple), veneer and high-density panels, with soft-close hardware and low-VOC finishes.

Every project starts with a 3D rendering you approve before fabrication. Our cabinetmakers install the furniture themselves, which guarantees a millimetre fit even against the out-of-square walls of Montreal plexes.

Frequently asked questions about custom cabinetry

Does custom furniture cost much more than store-bought?

The initial investment is higher than prefabricated furniture, but the materials (solid wood, high-density panels), the perfect fit with no wasted space and the durability make it the better long-term value, and it adds real value to the property.

Which wood species do you use?

Mainly white oak, walnut, maple and ash in solid or veneer, plus lacquered or thermofoil panels for contemporary finishes. We show samples at the workshop or during the visit.

Do you work from a designer's plans?

Yes. We regularly build from designers' and architects' plans, and we provide shop drawings for approval before machining.

What is the fabrication lead time?

Usually 2 to 6 weeks after plan approval, depending on complexity and finishes. We confirm the installation date at signature.
